The Singer Reflects on Growth, Creativity, and Upcoming Spanish Singles
Amy Jaime ©️ 2024
Today we have the pleasure to have Amy on Goathead !
GHR: Hey Amy, great to have you on Goathead. What inspired you to start writing music?
Amy: Hey there, thanks for having me. Healing my inner child. This is something I’ve always wanted to do. When I was younger, in high school, I was too afraid to take that step.
GHR: Can you tell us more about your experience performing live at gigs and what was the most memorable experience you had?
Amy: I’ve had a few memorable experiences, but the one that stood out the most was when I got to perform out of state for the first time. I remember a year before that, I was wishing and praying for the opportunity, and it finally happened. It’s the little things like that that mean the most.
GHR: How is your process of songwriting set around?
Amy: The mumble method is my favorite. Creating melodies is really my thing. Writing can be a struggle for me at times unless I’m having a creative burst. That’s usually how my songwriting process goes.
GHR: What motivates you to create music and bring awareness to different situations through your songs?
Amy: My inner child. Everything I do is for younger Amy! No matter how big or small, it’s all for me. I think that’s an important lesson everyone should take—do everything for yourself.
GHR: Could you share some insights into your next projects?
Amy: More Spanish singles. Everyone should expect a single from me in late January. A lot has happened this past year, and I’m excited to write about all of my experiences.
